The major mountain hike behind Belvedere. From the Trifari area the route climbs toward the Belvedere Refuge and then the summit of Monte La Caccia, among limestone slopes, coastal views and Heldreich’s pines.

Before you go

  • The local tourism portal indicates roughly 1,000–1,100 m of elevation gain from Trifari to the summits.
  • A recent community GPS track reports 10.8 km, +1,066 m and EE difficulty; waymarking may be insufficient beyond the refuge.
  • This is not an easy tourist walk: a local guide is recommended if you do not know the area. Avoid extreme heat and winter conditions without specialist equipment.
