One of the wildest landscapes of the Riviera dei Cedri: the Argentino Valley offers walks and hikes of different difficulty among gorges, woodland, springs, waterfalls and limestone walls.

Before you go

• The valley has trail signage and offers both relaxed walks and demanding hikes.
• The local route follows the river toward the medicinal-plant garden, Ficara waterfall and, higher up, Frassaneto cave.
• Choose the section according to ability, river level and daily conditions; a guide is preferable for the inner valley.
